Romney sheep are a versatile breed from England. It is a long-wool breed that produces a lovely, crimpy fiber suitable for a variety of uses. This particular fleece came from a friend's farm, Blackberry Patch Farms (https://bpfarms.com/). This is still some vegetable matter (hay, grass seed, etc.) in the fleece, but most of it will come out easily as you spin it.
Price is per ounce of fiber. (16 ounces = 1 pound)
While I don't have the ability to measure microns, the average for Romney 29-36 microns. Staple length of this particular fleece is approximately 4".
