Learn the basic stitches for knitting or crocheting in just 2 hours. Basic knitting covers casting on, knit, and purl stitches. Crochet covers the beginning chain and single, double, and treble crochet stitches. We'll make a small square in class, talk about reading patterns, and how to spot and fix some mistakes.
 
This class can also be tailored to walk you through a specific pattern or type of garment, if preferred. Feel free to contact me to discuss what you're looking for.

Tools and supplies required:
Worsted weight (size 4) yarn
Size 8 knitting needles or H-8 crochet hook
 
Not required in class but necessary for finishing a project:
Yarn needle
Scissors
 
I have a couple of work lights we can use in class if needed. If you feel you may need magnification, feel free to bring it.
 
Classes can be held during the day or in the evenings, weekdays or weekends. Please contact me with timing preferences so we can get your class on the calendar.
 
Classes are best for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class.
